Zer0 for certain does as well, but only as part of his Bloodshed tree it's quite possible not to experience these skills if one sticks with sniper or blended sniper/melee builds. Maya has healiing skills, Axton too, it's likely that Gaige and Sal do as well as part of their skill trees. How does what you write address the original comment of Zer0's "self sustain"? These things weren't what "The | Suit" was referring to. This is what my main form of healing is for him as I've worked on getting him to OP8 without trope OP gear, nor healing guns.
BORDERLANDS 2 TROPES HOW TO
However, much of your response deals with how to heal Zer0 using external tools (all applicable to every toon), which is all correct. My intention had been to group the two as "different" characters to play, in terms of the mindset needed to be successful. Certainly you are correct about Krieg's healing skills. I shouldn't have included Krieg in the first part of my reply without further clarification. My reply was to "The | Suit"'s dislike of Zer0 for apparently not having "good self sustain" (their words). Reoden: Most of your reaction is owing to a clarity error on my part. Originally posted by Bringoutyerded:Just like Krieg who I'm learning now, if you adjust your mindset about Zer0, he's very self-sustaining. I do like Salvador, but personally I think Krieg might be more fun, in both Melee and Hellborn specs. Though do keep in mind that won't necessarily answer which character you'd enjoy most. Doesn't necessarily mean the others can't solo content or get you to the end of the game, but if you want the easiest/strongest/most reliable character, it's probably him. Yeah obviously that won't make him a tank, but it will give him a reliable means to replenish his health.Īs to OP's question, Salvador is generally considered the most powerful character, if that helps. How does he not have a ton of built-in sustain?Īs for Zero, you could try some form of transfusion or Leech grenade, or a Rubi or, ideally, Grog Nozzle. What are you talking about? Krieg heals off every kill with his ability, has an ability to heal from all overkill damage, and if you go Hellborn he can heal from elemental damage. If you remember this, and that he's an assassin, he can definitely be soloed. The problem comes when you try to play him generically, like any other toon. Just like Krieg who I'm learning now, if you adjust your mindset about Zer0, he's very self-sustaining.

I thought I would just post a couple of examples, but I keep finding more so I'll just stop.Originally posted by The | Suit:I think Zero honestly is one of the worst for Soloing since he doesn't have good self sustain like other heroes. I'll make an allowance for actual Claptr4p original compositions.

Remember when vanilla ice was hip hop? Or the summer movies were all about the dubsteps? Use the music from the games. Should I be geeking out about how hollywood gets guns so wrong? Can you imagine Tina shooting a Jacobs shotgun and keeping it steady? On second thought, this is Borderlands. Since the game involves so many guns, they're going to do one where a 90 pound woman shoots a 357 magnum and no recoil. Snape is the one example that I didn't actually resent. My first play through The Fridge with my green and white guns felt epic.ĭude was the bad guy all along! Seen way too much of it and the related one about being the good guy all along. So, can we have decent writing, please? Maybe instead of defeating Jack, just make it through The Fridge or Sawtooth Cauldron in one piece. Nobody was (physically) hurt, but I felt the shame deeply. The anguish I felt for the person was intense. I once read this amazing short story about a guy who embarrasses himself at a bus stop. Make the drama about the struggle, not the epic scale of the adventure.

We have to win or the whole world will end! Not just the world, the universe will end!! Wait, not just our universe, the multiverse will end!!! Can we have slightly scaled back villain and finale? Leave some room for a sequel.
BORDERLANDS 2 TROPES MOVIE
What I do not want to see is the protagonist chasing the leading lady the whole movie and then suddenly he wins her over because he wins? And please, not another love triangle. I like that we hear Lilith scheme awkwardly to be with Roland. I have a hard time distinguishing it from the chosen one. If time travel was so cheap, why not go back and fix things before they became a crisis? Why not go back further and kill off all the bad guys? It's been done far too much.Īs the prophecy foretold. I'm not optimistic about the borderlands movie, same as most of us, I guess.Ĭan we do a thread about the tropes we do not want to see? See for background.
